I love flourishes just as much as the next artist, heck, I've even got one tattooed on the top of my left foot. However, flourishes seem to be IN everyone's box these days. Since this is an OUT of your box challenge, lets refrain from using them for these challenges.

Great inspiration to “play” with new materials. I really like your texture piece. Is there a group that is participating in your challenges? Are the resulting pieces posting anywhere? I am so new to this blog stuff and I am so fascinated with the dialog between artists. Used to be that artists didn’t share their techniques and I always thought it was such a shame…the web has changed that. I’m late to the party…but with some of you talented ones showing the way, I’m beginning to “get” it.

okay- i was going to be clever and and come up with a fake name but it turns out my brain is not working this am so at the risk of inflating you larger than i might like….. this is a very cool site you’ve got here. (of course you also know how much i ’surf’ so i can’t compare it to anything.) i am truly impressed. if other people read this (sorry for wasting your time) i’m one of lisa’s best friends and it is my job to keep her on earth. so have a fun out of the box saturday morning- if you are feeling stuck in any way come on over and help me give the dogs flea baths– i’m sure we could inspire!!! xoxox
