Breaking the Flourish Rule.

Ok we all know that flourishes are great for accents and backgrounds and even sometimes as the main focal image.  However, there’s got to be something else we can do with these beauties!  What can you turn a flourish into? Do you have one that when you turn it a certain way it looks like a face, or a duck, or a car?  Lets step Outside The Box with flourishes this week and see them for something we don’t usually.

Here’s mine. I am not good at flourishes because my hands shake, so you still got me to step outside my comfort zone.

Well, you did it again… made me think and I made me laugh! This really is my favourite challenge to do!

I really liked this challenge. I have been stamping for years but just recently looked into stamping challenges. I tried two designs with the flourishes…going to work on some more today. It was a lot like the Rohrschach tests.

Whats This All About

Each week a new challenge will be posted. Your task is to then go create!!! When you're done, upload a photo of it to your own blog or website. Then post a comment here with a link to your photo so that we can all see what you've created. WARNING: THIS IS A FLOURISH FREE ZONE!!!!! I love flourishes just as much as the next artist, heck, I've even got one tattooed on the top of my left foot. However, flourishes seem to be IN everyone's box these days. Since this is an OUT of your box challenge, lets refrain from using them for these challenges.
