Lets Go Green

In this day and age when we’ve become so aware of how we use our earth and take care of it.  I think that once in a while, or even more often, it’s important recycle and reuse even in our art.  So in your project this week, think of new ways to reuse things.  Some of my favorite things to incorporate into  my art come from Starbucks LOL

I started making these textured ‘cards’ recently with all sorts of recycled scraps and they’re proving quite addictive! Especially the green/copper/gold ones! Here are a few minis:

Okay, I’m on a roll – I ‘altered a bag today – made the outer from chenille (old curtains) and the lining was DD’s old book bag!!

Whats This All About

Each week a new challenge will be posted. Your task is to then go create!!! When you're done, upload a photo of it to your own blog or website. Then post a comment here with a link to your photo so that we can all see what you've created. WARNING: THIS IS A FLOURISH FREE ZONE!!!!! I love flourishes just as much as the next artist, heck, I've even got one tattooed on the top of my left foot. However, flourishes seem to be IN everyone's box these days. Since this is an OUT of your box challenge, lets refrain from using them for these challenges.
